"No, Naruto, it would never work out between us because I don't want to be Hokage."
"Why would you be Hokage? That's my goal, not yours."
"Yes, but look at all the people who have been Hokage, they're all connected to the Uzumaki but not Uzumaki themselves. The Shodaime was married to one, the Nidaime was in-laws with that same one. Sandaime was Nidaime's student, which stretches the connection as evidenced by his student, Orochimaru, trying for the hat and losing to the Yondaime who was married to one and thus had a stronger connection. Watch, the Godaime is either going to be Senju Tsunade who is a grandaughter of an Uzumaki or your jounin instructor, assuming you pass and join a team."
Naruto, who wanted to be a Hokage but obviously only cared about what the Hokage did and not who they were connected to, stared. In the background, one could see Hinata also staring, wide eyed, before her eyes narrowed and a look of determination came over her face. Other students were also less than subtly eavesdropping and shooting looks around as the each quietly asked each other, "Is she right? Did you know this?"
"Granted, the other two Uzumaki weren't from Konoha and you are so you do stand a pretty good chance of becoming Hokage as long as you actually study but dating you is definitely a political choice that I'm not interested in."
