A Looney Beginning

Summary:

If you were wondering how Ash knew about the Tiny Toons characters then this is the story that will answer your question Ash x harem

Chapter 1: Chapter 1

Chapter Text

Since the beginning of his journey, our hero, Ash Ketchum, seemed destined for the life of a hero.

"Hey higher beings! When do we come in?" A familiar voice questioned.

"In a second, don't interrupt." The first voice said.

"Come on, we'll behave." A female voice said.

"I've heard that one before." Another voice said.

"Anyway, Ash Ketchum has faced many threats in his travels," The first voice said.

"Do you have pizza?" Questioned a less bright voice.

"Oh my gosh, we'll get pizza later. Let us finish what we're doing." The first voice said.

"There's a pizza in the break room refrigerator." Another voice said.

"Anyway, one day, destiny appears before Ash in the form of a familiar ring." The first voice said.

'Hopefully that infinity pizza will keep them busy.' Another voice thought.

"Soon he would be joined by others also chosen by destiny." The first voice said.

Ash is in a large group of people of all shapes and forms.

"Within this group was a familiar figure." The voice said.

The figure is a female skunk who is purple with the classic white stripe on a skunk's back.

"Her name is Fifi La Fume, and her life was somewhat normal as she attended Acme Loonaversity to learn all the tricks of being a toon while also searching for romance." The voice said.

"And you're all are wondering why Ash was at Acme Loonaversity?" Another voice said.

"Well, this tale is best told as all great stories are told at the beginning." The first voice said.

"And hopefully no one else butts in." The other voice said.

"Right, let's begin the tale." The first voice said.

We see Ash at a fork in the road.

"Alright, where do I go from here?" Ash questioned.

He grabs a stick.

"Alright, this should help." Ash said.

He then tosses the stick.

Soon enough, the stick lands on the left trail.

"It's the right trail." He said.

His first Pokémon made a face as both missed the sign that reads don't go this way and so on.

Ash walks down the road.

He didn't notice how his surroundings changed as he walked.

"So, Pikachu, what do you think we'll find?" Ash questioned.

"Pika," Pikachu answered.

Soon, Ash sees something.

"Hmm?" He said

He sees a city.

"That's odd." Ash said as he pulled out a map from his backpack.

"That's weird; this city isn't on the map." Ash said.

"Pika!" Pikachu pointed to a sign.

Ash walks up to the sign.

"Welcome to Acme Acres, and beware of the Warner siblings!" The sign reads.

"Huh, well, at least we know the city's name." Ash said.

"Pika chu Pikachu? (Yeah, but who are the Warner siblings?)" Pikachu said.

He was confused as to why someone would tell people to beware of a set of siblings.

"No clue; maybe someone in town can explain." Ash said.

Ash kept walking.

As he walked, he took a look at his surroundings.

So far, Acme Acres looks to be a normal city.

Soon, Ash notices someone.

The person is some type of dog Pokémon walking like Team Rocket's Meowth while wearing sunglasses.

'What type of Pokémon is that?' Ash thought.

He pulls his Pokédex.

"No data." The device said.

A white furred creature with long blonde hair wearing a red dress and matching shoes walked towards him, but she didn't notice him as she was reading a magazine.

'Oh, there's going to be a big sale at the mall.' The creature thought.

She felt like she bumped into someone.

"Oh, sorry for that. I wasn't watching where I was going." She said.

"It's fine," Ash said.

She looks at who she bumped into, only to blush at what she saw.

"Can you tell me where the closest Pokemon center is?" Ash questioned.

"Pokémon center? I've never heard of something like that." The creature said after managing to shake off her blush.

Ash waited for a few seconds to see if the Pokémon was joking.

"You're not joking; you've never heard of a Pokémon Center?" Ash questioned.

"Yeah, sorry." She answered.

"It's fine, but can you tell me more about this city?" Ash questioned.

The Pokemon told the trainer about the city.

"Wow," Ash said.

"I have to go see about finding a place to stay for now; see you around." Ash said.

"Oh, before you go, can I get your name?" The Pokémon were questioned.

"I'm Ash Ketchum," Ash answered.

"It's nice to meet you. My name is Minerva Mink." The Pokémon, now known as Minerva said.

Ash waved as he went around the corner and saw a library.

"Maybe we'll learn more." Ash said.

Ash walks into the building, but no one pays him any attention.

He goes to the history area.

"Let's see what we can learn," Ash said.

{Three hours later}

"Wow," Ash said.

He had learned he is in a world where cartoon characters are not only real, but somehow his world and many others fuse into one without him noticing.

"Man, this just got complicated." Ash said.

While he had read the books, his first Pokémon had built a book fortress.

"It says here that a school was founded to teach up and coming toon stars the tricks of being a toon." Ash said.

"And they are offering boards for "human" students?" Ash questioned.

He wondered why the human part had quotation marks.

"We should check this place out," Ash said.

Ash puts the books back before he leaves the library.

"Alright, according to the book I read, the school should be this way." Ash said.

Ash leaves the library.

After an hour of walking, Ash sees a building.

He looks at the arch in front of the building.

'While that wasn't too far of a walk.' Ash and Pikachu thought.

Ash walks into the building.

Once he set foot into the school, a dog cartoon stopped him.

"Who are you?" The dog was questioned.

"I'm Ash Ketchum." Ash answered.

The dog pulled out a clipboard.

"I don't see your name on here." The dog said.

"That's because I'm trying to enroll here." Ash said.

"I see, well, you'll have to speak to the principal for that." The dog said.

"And that's why I am trying to walk into the school." Ash said.

"Well, then go on ahead." The dog said.

As Ash walks past, the dog grabs Pikachu off of his shoulder.

"The boy can go in, not you." He dog said.

He kicked Pikachu to the other side of the road.

"Hey, he's with me." Ash said.

"Until you're a student here, you can't bring your pet on to the school's grounds." The dog said.

"Pika Pika chu Pika. (Don't worry, Ash, I'll wait for you here.)" Pikachu said.

"If you're sure," Ash said.

"Pikachu. (I'm sure.)" Pikachu said.

"Okay," Ash said as he went in.

Pikachu then uses Iron Tail on the dog, and his target is the dog's balls.

"Pika chu Pikachu!" (And this for kicking me!) Pikachu said.

Soon, a shrill cry was heard.

Brown's furred coyote looked outside of his classroom and saw what happened.

'Ooh, that had to hurt.' He thought.

'But with the pain he caused me on set, he had it coming.' He thought.

Ash walks down the halls.

The halls were empty, making it easy for Ash to walk through, but it was only a matter of time until the class ended and the halls were filled with students.

"Now where is the Principle's office?" Ash questioned.

"I should have asked that cartoon for a map," Ash said.

He then sees a cat in the halls.

"Excuse?" Ash said.

The cat turns to him, only to blush at the sight of him.

"Yes?" She questioned.

"Can you tell me where the principal's office is?" Ash questioned.

"I can show you the way." The she-cat said.

"Okay, lead the way," Ash said.

The duo starts walking towards the way the cat is heading.

After an hour of walking, they arrive at a door.

"Thank you." Ash said.

"No problem, btw, my name is Penelope Pussycat." The cat, now known as Penelope said.

She opens the door for Ash.

"Thanks," he said.

Ash walks through.

'I know I just met him, but he's actually kind of cute.' Penelope thought.

'Now I better get back to the library before he finds me.' Penelope thought.

In the principle's office, Ash walks up to the desk.

"Hello?" Ash said.

"Eh, what's up, doc?" A voice questioned.

The chair spins to show a gray-furred rabbit male eating a carrot.

"Uh hi, sir, my name is Ash Ketchum." Ash said.

"So why are you here?" The rabbit questioned.

He puts ketchup on his carrot.

"I wish to enroll in your school." Ash said.

"Are you supposed to?" The rabbit was questioned.

"Yeah," Ash said.

Then the rabbit pulls out hill-sized forms from his desk.

"Just sign all of these." The rabbit said.

"Oh." Ash said.

He never had to fill out that many forms before.

After an hour, Ash had finished signing the forms.

"Whoa! Normally, it takes someone only ten minutes to realize it's just the same paper." The rabbit said.

"Eh, what can I say? I'm a trooper." Ash said.

"Yeah, a stormtrooper.' The rabbit thought.

"Well, Mr. Ketchum, here is your class schedule." The rabbit said.

"As well as your apartment key and gym bag." The rabbit said.

Bugs then  handed the trainer said items.

"Thank you," Ash said.

He was now under a pile of stuff.

"This'll take some getting used to." Ash said.

He tries to pack as much of the stuff as he can.

"Do you need some help?" The rabbit was questioned.

"Yes, please." Ash answered.

Thanks to the rabbit's help, Ash had managed to pack everything

"Good thing you start tomorrow." The rabbit said.

"Yeah, btw, I didn't get your name." Ash said.

"I'm Bugs Bunny." Bugs answered.

"It's nice to meet you, Bugs." Ash said.

"You too, Ketchup," Bugs said.

"It's Ketchum," Ash said.

"I know," Bugs said.

As Ash leaves the office, he sees Penelope standing in the hall.

"Hey! Penelope." Ash said

Penelope turns to Ash.

"Oh! Hello Ash." She greeted while trying not to blush.

"What are you doing here?" Ash questioned.

"Well, I was trying to avoid someone," Penelope said.

"Who? and why?" Pokemon trainer questioned.

"His name is Pepe le Pew, and as for why it's a long story," Penelope said.

"I have time," Ash said.

Penelope told the human the whole story.

"I'm sorry to hear that." Ash said.

Ash then gets an idea.

He opened one of his bags.

"Hop in," Ash said.

"Hop in to what?" Penelope questioned.

"This bag," Ash said.

"Oh," Penelope said.

She then jumped into the bag.

Ash was careful to zip up the bag.

Soon enough, a male skunk shows up.

"Hmm?" The skunk questioned as he looked around.

'That must be this Pepe le Pew guy.' Ash thought.

"Hello, have you seen a cute kitty around?" Pepe questioned.

"Sorry, I'm new here, so the only person I've seen is the Principle." Ash said.

"I see, well, the search goes on." Pepe said.

With that he hopped away.

Ash walks the other way.

After walking away far enough, he let Penelope out.

"Thank you, Ash." She said.

"No problem." He said.

"So, where are you going now?" Penelope questioned.

"Where I'm going to live while here." He answered.

"Mind if I join you? I'm not doing anything right now." Penelope said.

"Sure, I would need a guide." Ash said.

As they walk.

Aren't they missing everyone's favorite yellow mouse?

Suddenly Ash is tackled from behind.

"Ah!" He said.

"There you are, Pikachu," Ash said.

Penelope blinked, as she had never seen a creature like Pikachu before.

"Sorry, Pikachu did I keep you waiting long?" Ash questioned.

"Pika." (A bit.) Pikachu answered.

"Sorry about that, buddy." Ash said.

Penelope, stayed still and looked at Pikachu.

"Ash, who is that?" Penelope questioned.

"This is Pikachu." Ash answered.

"Pika. (Hi.)" Pikachu said.

Penelope Tries to keep her instincts in check.

"Anyway, let's head to where Pikachu and I will be staying." Ash said.

"Right." The she-cat said.

As they walk.

The student housing wasn't too far from the school.

"Here we are," Penelope said.

The building is an apartment complex in blue and white.

"Wow," Ash said.

"First time at an apartment building?" Penelope questioned.

"Yeah," Ash said.

"Well, let's head in," Penelope said.

Penelope has to open the door since Ash has to carry a lot of bags.

"Thanks," Ash said.

"You're welcome." Penelope said.

As she, Ash, and Pikachu walk in.

Ash put down some of the bags to look for the page that had his apartment number on it.

"I'm looking for apartment 44." He said.

They went to the elevator.

"So Penelope, tell me about yourself." Ash said.

She told him about herself.

"Wow," Ash said.

The elevator's door opens on Ash's floor.

"Let's see, where's apartment 44?" Ash questioned.

"From the looks of it, the even number of apartments are on the left side." Penelope said.

As they look for the number.

They found it on the other side of the hall.

"Here we are," Penelope said.

"Could you?" Ash questioned while nodding towards the door.

"Of course," Penelope said before unlocking the door.

"Thank you." Ash said.

He and Pikachu walked in.

"No problem," Penelope said with a blush.

She follows right behind.

They take a look at their surroundings.

The apartment is empty.

"So this is where I'll be staying." Ash said.

"Yep," Penelope said.

"Penelope, thanks for helping us get here." Ash said.

"Want me to get you some food?" the she-cat questioned.

"If you don't mind," Ash said.

"It's no problem after all; you hide me from Pepe." Penelope said.

An hour later, Penelope came back with some food.

Ash was able to unpack one bag.

"Ready to eat?" Penelope questioned.

"Yes, please." Ash answered.

As they eat.

Penelope watches Pikachu go to town on a bottle of Ketchup.

"Wow, your friend really likes ketchup." Penelope said.

"Yeah, there is a funny story behind that." Ash said.

"I would like to hear it," Penelope said.

Ash then told her about how he and his friends were nearly dragging themselves into a gang war between two wannabe gyms.

"Wow, and they seriously thought they could be official." Penelope said.

"Yes, but they failed." Ash said.

"Good, they don't deserve to be official after starting a gang war." Penelope said.

"And they also nearly destroy a whole town," Ash said.

"Yeah, they got what they deserved," Penelope said.

"Agreed," Ash said.

Penelope then asks a question that's been bugging her.

She faces Ash.

"Hey Ash, can you tell me more about yourself?" Penelope questioned.

So Ash told Penelope everything about him as they finished the meal and unpacked.

"Wow," Penelope said.

"Yeah, I live a wild life," Ash said.

"No kidding," Penelope said.

"Thank you for helping." Ash said.

"No problem, Ash," Penelope said.

"I should call you Ms. Penelope since you work at the school and I'm one of its students." Ash said.

"That's fine. You don't need to do that." Penelope said.

"If you're sure," Ash said.

Ash then surprises her with a hug.

"Huh?" Penelope said.

"Thanks for helping me out today, Penelope." Ash said.

Pikachu was also thankful for her help and joined in the hug.

"You're welcome," she said.

She hugged back.

"And if you need any more help with Pepe le Pew, let me know." Ash said.

"I will; I better get going after all; we don't want the other students to think we have a forbidden relationship." Penelope said.

"Right," Ash said.

The she-cat leaves.

'Ash is sure an interesting character.' She thought as she left.

At the corner market.

A brown-furred tree squirrel boy wearing a red shirt and a pair of forest green shorts was trying to get a sports illustration.

'Where is it?' The squirrel thought.

He was unaware of a familiar mink holding the last copy of the item he was seeking.

'I finally found it.' Minerva thought.

Minerva bumps the squirrel with her hip.

"Oh, sorry about that," Minerva said.

"It's okay." The squirrel said.

He then notices something in her hands.

"Hey! I was looking for that!" The squirrel said.

 He pointed at the magazine.

"Oh, this magazine?" Minerva questioned.

"Yes, that magazine!" The squirrel said.

"I'm sorry, but this was the last one." Minerva said.

"Why do you want it? It mainly gears towards men like me." The squirrel said.

"I like the shopping articles," Minerva said.

"For sporting gear?" The squirrel was questioned.

"Sportswear, actually." Minerva said.

"Ahmm?" The squirrel said.

He did not believe the mink.

Then an idea popped into the mink's mind.

"How bad do you want this?" Minerva questioned.

"Very much." The squirrel said.

"And what will you do to get it?" Minerva questioned.

"Anything." The squirrel said.

"Then here is what I want you to do for me." The mink said.

She went to the squirrel's ear.

She then whispers into his ear.

Then the squirrel's eyes widened.

"You want me to take pictures of a guy named Ash?" The squirrel questioned.

The mink covered the squirrel's mouth.

She looked around to make sure no one was around before turning back to the squirrel.

"Keep your voice down, Skippy!" Minerva told the now-named Skippy.

"But why would you want pictures of this Ash guy?" Skippy questioned with a whisper.

"I could ask you the same thing about this magazine since you're not into sports." Minerva said.

"I'm a guy; that's normal, but that doesn't explain why you want pictures of this Ash guy." Skippy said.

"We both know the real reason you want the magazine, and it's the same reason why I want those pictures." Minerva said.

"So you want them for a specific activity?" Skippy questioned.

"No," Minerva said.

"To admire or something?" Skippy questioned.

"Do you want your aunt to know about this magazine?" Minerva questioned.

"No," Skippy said.

"Then you will take the deal?" Minerva questioned.

"Yes," Skippy said reluctantly.

"Good boy, you will get this when I have my pictures." Minerva Answered.

"Okay," Skippy said.

"Good," Minerva said.

She went to the corner.

As she walked, a thought popped into her head.

"Could I have a piece of paper and a pen, please?" Minerva questioned.

"Sure." The person said.

The person handed the mink the requested items.

"Thank you," Minerva said.

Minerva writes on the paper.

"There we go," Minerva said.

She handed the paper to Skippy.

"Here," Minerva said.

Skippy takes the paper.

"What's this?" He questioned.

"My phone number." She answered.

"Why give me your number?" Skippy questioned.

"How else will you contact me when you have my pictures?" Minerva questioned.

"True," Skippy said.

Skippy put the paper in his pocket.

"Where should we meet when I call you?" Skippy questioned.

"I'll let you know when you have my pictures." Minerva answered.

"Okay," Skippy said.

The two went their ways.

A thought popped into Minerva's head as she walked.

'Hmm?' She thought.

She starts thinking about Ash.

'I hope Skippy gets some pictures of Ash as he gets out of the shower.' She thought.

Soon, some more inappropriate thoughts started appearing.

Ash is in swimming trunks, Ash is just wearing boxers while he sleeps, and Ash is just stepping out of the shower.

A massive blush appears on her face as steam comes out of her ears.

She stops before she walks into a pole.

'That was close. I need to calm down and pay attention to where I'm going. Besides, I can save those thoughts for when I'm home.' Minerva thought.

'Something tells me I won't leave my bedroom for a while." She thought.

Meanwhile, we see Penelope talking with someone.

The person in question is a tall female, cream-colored rabbit with blonde hair.

"So we have a new student?" The rabbit was questioned.

"Yes, his name is Ash Ketchum." Penelope answered.

"Cool, so anything interesting about him?" The rabbit was questioned.

"He hid me from Pepe." Penelope answered.

"Oh, that's nice, but you really should just get a restraining order on Pepe," the rabbit said.

"You know those are hard to enforce, Lola." Penelope said this to her friend.

"I know, but the worst thing that can happen is that he goes to prison." The now-named Lola said.

"Which won't last long since he is still a big-name cartoon star." Penelope said.

"Right, still, it was nice of Ash to help you." Lola said.

"Yes, it was." Penelope said.

Lola notices a blush appear on Penelope's face.

"Thinking about being his pet "pussycat?" Lola teased.

Penelope's eyes widened as her blush deepened.

Lola then laughed at her friend's reaction.

"Man, and people say rabbits are none-stop breeders." Lola said before she returned to her laughing fit.

"Shut up!" Penelope shouted, her face completely red.

"Come on, calm down. I was just pulling your leg." Lola said.

"It wasn't funny," Penelope said while trying to calm her blush.

"Oh, come on, you have taken some shots at my love life." Lola said.

"True," Penelope said.

"As for the whole school, faculty and staff can't date students rule; schools don't have to follow that rule." Lola said.

"That's true," Penelope said with her eyes wide.

Lola then pulls out the "big book of human laws that doesn't affect Toons" from her back pocket.

"Just got to look for the page," she said.

Lola opened it to that page.

"Here we are reading this." Lola said.

Penelope pulls a microscope just in case of fine and very tiny prints.

She then began to read it.

"While a faculty or staff member of a school is forbidden to have a romantic relationship with a student (under the age of eighteen), if one of the parties is a Toon, then nothing law enforcement can do about it. However, if said Toon has the body of a pre-schooler or younger, then your number is up." Penelope read.

"So, there's nothing stopping you from pursuing a romantic relationship with Ash." Lola said.

At the word "pursuing," Penelope's tail went straight up, and she looked around.

Once she didn't see Pepe or a hit from him, the she-cat gave her friend an angry look.

"I said a trigger word, didn't I?" Lola questioned nervously.

"Yes, you did." Penelope answered.

"Sorry, but you get what I mean." Lola said.

"It's fine," Penelope said.

"Still, you'd have a guy you actually like." Lola said.

Penelope didn't look Lola in the eye.

"Someone's shy all of a sudden." Lola said.

"Given my love life Is it any wonder why I'm shy?" Penelope questioned.

"True," Lola said.

Both take a drink from their cups.

"You know I haven't asked this, but what does he look like?" Lola questioned.

Penelope told her friend what Ash looked like.

"Wow, he sounds like quite the looker." Lola said.

"Slow your roll, Ms. I get banned from the X-games after my first try." Penelope said.

"Hey!" Lola shouted.

"It's true," Penelope said.

"Anyway, I would like to meet Ash." Lola said.

"It's a bit late for that." Penelope said.

"I know, but maybe sometime tomorrow, and who knows, I might like what I see." Lola said.

"Maybe." Penelope said.

"BTW, did you hear what happened earlier?" Lola questioned.

"No what happened?" Penelope questioned.

"Apparently the students and faculty heard Sam let out a high-pitched scream as if someone kicked him in the privates." Lola said.

"Which Sam, the human or the dog?" Penelope questioned.

"Dog," Lola said.

"Then I know who did it," Penelope said.

"Who?" Lola questioned.

"Pikachu." Penelope answered.

"Who's Pikachu?" Lola questioned.

Penelope then went on to tell her friend about Pokemon.

"Wow," Lola said.

"Yeah, Sam is lucky he's a toon, or else his nuts would have been turned to dust." Lola said.

"Right," Lola said.

'If the Roadrunner was a Pokemon, Wile would have gone nuts long before now.' the doe thought.

"It sounds like it's wild where Ash's from." Lola said.

"Pallet Town, Kanto." Penelope answered.

"I wonder how he ended up in Acme Acres," Lola said.

"He just came across the City." Penelope said.

"I see well. Hopefully, we'll be able to make his stay here interesting." Lola said.

Penelope rolled her eyes at that.

"Just a bit of advice: don't go tackling him onto a bed hust yet." Lola said.

"Hahaha." Penelope said sarcastically.

"Hey, I'm just saying that, with the way you're swooning over him, I wouldn't be surprised if you had those thoughts." Lola said.

"Just because I am a cat doesn't mean I will jump in bed with someone just after meeting with them." Penelope said.

"But the thought had crossed your mind just a little," Lola said.

"Yes, but I have also been on the other side of that with Pepe." Penelope said.

"True," Lola said.

"Besides, our school isn't a normal one." Penelope said.

"True, though; from what you told me, Ash might turn a few heads." Lola said.

"I meant because you can't turn a corner without something looney happening." Penelope said with level eyebrows.

"I know, but, like I said from what you told me, Ash might turn a few heads." Lola said.

"Yes, he's hot." Penelope said with an eye roll.

"I definitely know that a certain student will like him." Lola said.

"Fifi?" Penelope questioned.

"Yep," Lola said.

"That's not surprising." Penelope said.

"That girl is a hopeless romantic." Lola said.

"Better than a constant cheater or a heartbreaker." Penelope said.

"Right," Lola said.

"I'm more worried about Ash's Pokémon if you know who has seen them." Penelope said.

"Right, she won't be gentle." Lola said.

"That is putting it lightly," Penelope said.

"Not to mention there's Monty." Penelope said.

"He would be the lesser of two evils." Lola said.

"True but still he'll be a problem." Penelope said.

"One who rarely wins." Lola said.

"Yeah, but let's be careful just in case." Penelope said.

"True." Lola said.

"BTW, did you hear from Minerva?" Penelope questioned.

"No," Lola answered.

"I see, I heard a rumor that she rejected a buff guy that was hitting on her." Penelope said.

"That's nothing new." Lola said

"Yeah, but the guy tried to grope her." Penelope said.

"So? She's a toon." Lola said as she pulled out a giant hammer out of nowhere.

"Put the hammer away; she already put him in the hospital," Penelope said.

"I was just making a point that only someone with Elmyra's IQ would be dumb enough to try something." Lola said.

"Well, then that guy was definitely dumb enough." Penelope said.

"Now he is most likely in an emergency room." Lola said.

"Yep," Penelope said.

What Looney actions wait for our favorite Pokemon Trainer?

Stay tuned and find out!

"Okay, Tenken let's get out of here before those three pull themselves away from the pizza!" The second voice said.

"Right, let's go!" Tenken said.

"Hey! We've been had!" A girl said.
