Yang Jeongin is overjoyed… after so long, he finally got to meet up with his friend Beomgyu… They'd been planning this outing for three months, and they finally managed to coordinate a day when both of their schedules were free.
The first thing they did was go eat at a very popular restaurant lately. They ate until they were stuffed. Afterward, they went to an internet cafe where they played games for a while until they got bored, and then they went for a walk before heading to the cinema to see the new Zootopia movie.
Everything was going wonderfully until they ran into their favorite hyung… don't tell the others what he said… that's right, he ran into the sun personified, the angel on earth, the chick of the group… they met their beloved Lee Felix Yongbok hyung.
It's not that he isn't happy to see his hyung… he's really happy to be able to tell his hyung about his outing with his friend Beomgyu… having those doe-like eyes looking at him with such attention and concentration makes him feel like the world revolves around him.
The problem lies precisely with that friend he went out with that day… he knows perfectly well the effect his hyung has on people… that's why he always makes sure to keep an eye on him at award shows, because he always tries to pull him close… and he's pretty sure Hyunjin and IN said on Two Kids Room that he's very jealous of his hyungs… well, he's even more jealous of his beautiful, angelic, and adorable hyung.
"So I beat Innie at all the games, he's terrible at any game, Lixie hyung," the maknae of the Lost Ones glared at his friend who was talking animatedly as SU HYUNG while clinging to his arm like a little kid.
" "Hahaha," his hyung laughed with that beautiful, high-pitched laugh, not the deep one that occasionally slipped out, but the laugh reserved exclusively for when the members acted cute on purpose… and it wasn't directed at him… but at his friend Beomgyu, aka the angelic hyung thief.
"I'm not that bad at games," he said, noting that the Great Maknae On Top DOESN'T POUT… if he is pouting.
"Oh, my cute maknae, it doesn't matter, hyung will help you improve at games," Felix's words made him smile again, a smile that vanished upon hearing Beomgyu's comment.
"I want Lixie hyung to teach me how to play too," the maknae glared at him again, seeing how his hyung was cooing at the other younger member for being cute.
Jeongin remained silent the rest of the way, while Beomgyu, on the other hand, kept bragging about his affection for his hyung, who, as expected, was completely charmed by the younger man… after all, his beloved hyung is a ball of love who only wants to give and give more love to those around him.
That night, Felix stayed in his dorm with Bangchan hyung. Seungmin hyung had gone back to his parents' house and would return the next day, and since the Sun didn't want to be alone in the apartment, he asked his dear Channie hyung if he could stay with them.
Needless to say, the leader was more than happy to have his beloved Australian little brother with him. He even came home early from his studies at the company that night just to make them a delicious dinner.
Since they didn't have any more beds, Felix would have to sleep with one of them. Channie hyung was about to offer, but Felix was quicker, and both older members readily agreed… Maknae On Top.
Once they were lying down, he knew that now no one could take his hyung away from him… he was his only maknae… the dog didn't count because they were only a few days apart… Lee Felix Yongbok's only dongsaeng was him, Yang Jeongin.
"Innie…" – his hyung's voice, raspy from sleep, always surprised him… how could it get any deeper – "What happened when we met this afternoon?" – of course, his very attentive hyung would notice.
"I don't like you being close to Beomgyu." – Well… that surprised even him… he hadn't expected to spill everything so quickly, but he knew he couldn't lie to his adorable hyung.
“…” – the sound of the sheets rustling told him his hyung had turned to look at him, and he did the same. The look of absolute affection the older man gave him made his heart skip a beat before it started racing. “I'm sorry, baby. You know I didn't mean to take your friend's attention away from you.”
"That's not it," he denied quickly, not wanting his hyung to think he was jealous because he was stealing his friend's attention... quite the opposite. "I don't like that your attention is focused on Beomgyu." That said... his hyung used his angelic powers to make him say everything he was thinking.
Jeongin watched as his hyung processed the information, as the gears in his head slowly turned. His smile intensified, and he pulled him into a hug. Everyone knows he doesn't like hugs... but he would never deny his Lixie hyung a hug... and if he ever did... kill him on the spot.
"Innie... baby... no one will ever be more important to me than you guys... especially you... my beautiful maknae." He felt his hyung kiss the top of his head and smiled... of course they were the most important thing to his hyung... no one would ever take them away from him.
"You're like that to us too, hyung," he said, wrapping his arms around his hyung's waist and burying his face in his neck. He sniffed a little... it smelled sweet... it smelled like home.
That's right... no one would ever take their hyung away from them, not any of their hyungs. He was the only maknae for them, and especially for their favorite hyung. Only Yang Jeongin, and no one else.
Half an hour later, Banchan tiptoed into the room. He smiled at the sight of his beautiful boys cuddling in each other's arms as they slept. His maknae's arms clung possessively to his hyung, while Felix smiled as he slept with his arms around his younger brother's shoulders.
He took a picture of them both and sent it through their private chat without Felix... not to exclude him, but for moments like these... because they knew Felix would get angry about all the things they sent about him in that chat.
Hyunjin: They look so cute cuddling... I don't know whether to be Bokkie or Innie this time.
Minho: You'd better be an ant and go among them… see if they crush you in your sleep.
Han: LOL Minho hyung is wild again.
Seungmin: I leave for one night and he'll already replace me with someone else.
Changbin: Hehehe… Jisung, you better go calm your man down.
Bangchan ignored the chat messages, patted both boys' heads, and wished them goodnight before leaving the room with a smile.
