Calm composure,
And lastly,
Impossible standards.
People think he has everything together.

He does not.
Stormz spent most of his life building a version
of himself people approve of

Masculine in the “acceptable” way

Hence after realizing he likes Dumb
It basically feels like awaiting a death sentence to him.
Obviously not because he hates Dumb.
It's the opposite, really.

That’s the problem.
He likes him way too much.
And Stormz has this constant internal panic of
“What does this make me?”
Which turns into denial,
Overanalyzes,
Defensive,
And emotional spiraling.
Especially because Dumb is the first person who makes
Him feel emotionally seen instead of blind admiration.

People assume he’s mean before speaking to him.
He isn’t.
He’s just awkward.
Dumb struggles expressing complicated emotions

especially romantic ones.
When he's nervous
He fidgets,
Taps objects,
Avoid's eye contact briefly,
Says things too directly without context,

But unlike Stormz,
Dumb does not hide
Who he is,
He just…
exists
honestly.
Which both attracts and terrifies Stormz.

Strawberry blonde hair
Pale skin
Aquatic eyes
Debate captain.
Sharp-tongued,
But emotionally intelligent.
Personal notes:
She also notices emotional tension,
frighteningly fast.
And, the reason
being why she's became one of Dumb’s closest friends.
Because,
She listens carefully,
Doesn't judge awkward phrasing,
Understands emotional burnout,
Hence she immediately realized Stormz is catastrophically in love,
long before either of them admit it.

Just about feeling safe in someone’s presence.

without losing yourself inside it.
