Work Text:

Iris walked through the woods on her bare feet, playing with her black locs as she did so. She was freshly nineteen and her parents allowed her to walk around outside of her house. She loved to wander since she was rarely ever able to, as the outside was too dangerous. Her parents specifically said not to speak to anyone she met just in case, and she fully intended to listen.
Through the trees she saw the glisten of water, a pure blue reflecting from the perfect sky. She hadn’t seen a pond in so long, though she knew her mother made quick trips there to wash their clothes, but often had to abandon their belongings due to meeting unfriendly creatures.
Iris knew she shouldn’t go towards the water, as most creatures, human or not and friendly or not, were attracted to water, but she wished to feel the waves upon her body. She walked a little quicker to the pond, curious. She moved a few tree branches and leaves out the way to look at the pond more closing and nearly gasped at what she saw.
Two women in thin white dresses, one with dark brown hair, one with dirty blonde, sat on the grass with their legs in the water, not caring about wettening their dresses. They both ate pure red apples from a basket next to them.
Once they finished their apples in unison, the women leaned in and pressed their lips to each other’s. The kiss was tender and gentle, clearly sweet from the apples.
They looked up and saw Iris, who blushed at being caught watching. In fairness, for Iris, two women kissing was quite the erotic sight for her. However, the women weren’t angered. The blonde one raised a hand and beckoned Iris closer with a finger.
Iris knew she shouldn’t approach the women, but it was all too tempting. Besides, surely they were friendly. The dresses they wore even slightly resembled Iris's more modest white dress, which, to her understanding, was worn by the human population due to being easy to make.
She walked towards them and sat down close.
Without being told so she became acutely aware of their names. The brunette was Raven and the blonde was Wren. Wren was the bold one, while Raven was more shy. They both looked no older than twenty eight, yet both had already lived four decades. Wren leaned into Iris and kissed her neck. Iris wasn’t as shocked as she should have been, and, despite never having done something like this, she undid the buttons on Wren’s dress.
Raven slipped off Wren’s dress and kissed her shoulder.
Wren gave Raven a half lidded look and Raven immediately got on her knees, lowering down Wren’s white panties and burying her face between her thighs.
Wren motioned for Iris to come closer and Iris obeyed. As Wren was eaten out, Wren kissed Iris just as gently as she had kissed Raven. It was thrilling for Iris to feel the tongue in her mouth.
Wren didn’t stop moving her lips against Iris’s, even as she finished.
Iris wrapped her arms around Wren’s neck as Wren slipped her hand under her skirt and palmed Iris’s heat, rubbing firmly. In the haze that the women brought Iris had forgotten everything. She had forgotten her name, her parents, her home, her clothes—
the pond.
In the blur that came with her climax, Raven grabbed Iris, Iris’s back against her chest, and slipped them into the water so slowly that Iris didn’t notice the liquid consuming her. She couldn’t hear the muffed sounds, couldn’t feel her lungs fill with water, and couldn’t see her vision blur. She didn’t even realize it when Wren pushed them to the bottom of the pond as Iris’s vision went black.

The black haired girl had been easy prey for the sirens. When they finished their meal the lovers sat naked in the pond together, Raven’s head against Wren’s chest as she sat in her lap. Neither of them spoke, being incapable of doing so, instead connecting through their minds.
Wren was happy that her quiet companion had been satisfied by the meal, and couldn’t wait for the next prey.
Wren stroked Raven’s hair, humming to her as she kissed Raven’s forehead, promising more food next time. She ignored the slight look of sadness in the quiet woman’s eyes at taking the life of a girl, the same look she always got when they ate. Her heart filled with love and adoration at Raven’s thoughtfulness.
Raven fell asleep and Wren laid in the water with her, closing her eyes and letting herself drift off with her lover.
