“You turned out to be a better secretary than I expected, Howard.” Lewis Dodgson said to his new assistant, Howard King. “As for now, I’m satisfied with your work. Except that you worry too much. What the fuck do you even do that for?” He asked curiously.
“I am usually not worried.” King pointed out and bitterly added. “Only among certain circumstances.”
“And what are those?” Dodgson tilted his head.
“Well, Lew, everything you do.” King clarified it. Dodgson let out a laugh.
“That was funny, Howard. Very funny.” He noted. King didn’t remark, just thought.
But also very true.
