She blinks as she takes in the vast, dark space surrounding her, those words seemingly echoing within her mind, and then scowls. "What the fuck?"

"You stole that from Scum Villain Self-Saving System," she accuses the voice right as she's struck by vertigo.
"Mornin'…" a new voice greets her, and at first it sounds like it's coming from across a chasm, but as her mind finally settles she realizes that it's much closer. "So, which one are you now?"
And the words are strikingly familiar. Even more familiar is the scene that greets her eyes once she finally opens them."
Every square inch of the room she's in is covered in paper talismans and sitting across from her is the unmistakable figure of Gojō Satoru.
"Oh, you have got to be joking," she says as something dings and the voice of the System speaks again.

"I'm afraid I'm not joking," Gojō says, as if he can't hear the System's voice, and she knows that he can't.
She's the only one that can hear the System's voice because she's transmigrated into Jujutsu Kaisen. And being familiar with that and how the System from Scum Villain Self-Saving System operated within the frame of its story…

The System confirms for her, and she resists the urge to roll her eyes at its blatant theft of Scum Villain Self-Saving System's dialogue.
Would it kill the System to be more original in its choice of dialogue?
[No, it would not kill this System to be more original in its dialogue choices.] the System cheerfully responds to her silent question while Gojō clears his throat expectantly.
"Right," she—no, Yūji—mutters as he finally focuses on the Sorcerer sitting across from him, and Gojō visibly perks up at receiving some sort of response from him. "And you are?"
"Gojō Satoru," Gojō introduces himself with a slight smile. "I teach first-years at Jujutsu High."
"Then what's all of this for?" Yūji asks instead of sticking with what he's supposed to say in this particular moment, and when no warning or cacophony of alarms comes from the System to indicate he is acting out of character he lets himself relax a little.
"Well…" Gojō starts only to trail off, as if waiting for something from him.
"Itadori Yūji," Yūji supplies with a frown.
"Your secret execution has been set!" Gojō informs him without actually answering his question whatsoever.
"That's kind of extreme and didn't really answer my question," Yūji blandly retorts and Gojō gives him a frown of his own before he launches into a recap of the prior night's events. As he listens he becomes increasingly aware of a peculiar sensation, like someone is right behind him, and he quickly realizes that it's Sukuna paying attention to what's going on.
It's both unnerving and a reminder that Sukuna can see and hear everything he does, meaning that-
Yūji suddenly finds himself standing in the ankle deep bloody water of Sukuna's innate domain with Sukuna himself standing nearly nose to nose with him, his red eyes narrowed as he intently stares at him.
[The Strongest Sorcerer in History and King of Curses, Ryōmen Sukuna.] the System happily chirps, sounding like it's coming from every direction, and Sukuna smirks.

Yūji blinks as the mission summary pops up in the scant space between their faces, therefore making it impossible to read unless he steps back, while Sukuna, whose face is still visible through the transparent screen, unflinchingly continues to stare at him, his smirk widening.
"Yeah, sure, give me a damn near impossible mission to complete right off the bat," Yūji grumbles as he puts some space between himself and Sukuna so he can get a proper look at the mission summary, and he quickly notices the lack of a decline option at the bottom of the summary. "And with no option to decline it either."
[Ryōmen Sukuna's approval has increased. Enjoyment points +50.] the System informs him and he meets Sukuna's gaze through the screen.
"You should accept that mission, Yūji," Sukuna says, his voice a low rumble as he purrs out Yūji's name, and Yūji shivers in response.

"I know better than to blindly agree to something just because I'm told to, Sukuna," Yūji retorts, unable to help the way his cheeks grow hot as he blushes, and he forces himself to focus on reading the painfully short mission summary.

Finding nothing wrong with the mission summary, and ignoring the way that Sukuna continues to stare at him with that smirk still in place, Yūji grudgingly lets his gaze linger on the accept option.
[You have successfully accepted the mission. Familiarize yourself with the files provided and make the necessary preparations to ensure a swift success.]
And before the System can even finish relaying its message Sukuna has him by the jaw. "Had I not heard it for myself I wouldn't have even known you had taken that brat's place," Sukuna murmurs, his grip on Yūji's jaw surprisingly light as he turns his head this way and that.
"Yeah, well, that makes two of us, and I don't even know how I did it," Yūji admits as he lets Sukuna examine him.
Because what the fuck else is he supposed to do?
[By triggering the System's activation code: "Stupid fucking author, stupid fucking plot."] the System helpfully informs him.
"And I would remember saying something like that, but I'm telling you that I…" Yūji starts to argue, only to trail off when he recalls one vital piece of information about his original self. "Ah, fuck. I talk in my sleep."
