Savage Presentation

Summary:

For Naruto, the day was simply too hot, though seeing a small puppy he knew well was like winding something up inside him.

Sasuke, on the other hand, upon learning of his teammate's illness, went to check on him, swearing it was to find out when they would train again. It was all for himself; he didn't care at all about the blond boy.

Notes:

I hope you enjoy this fanfic, even though English isn't my first language and it was translated with Google. It was made with all my love 💞

(See the end of the work for more notes.)

Work Text:

Konoha felt horribly hot; it felt like his skin was melting in the hell that was the village. He tried to move his shirt to get some air, but nothing worked.

Besides, was it just his imagination, or were people starting to smell different?

It was most likely his imagination, because his nose had never found so many things to smell. His mind was wandering; the best thing to do was go to his apartment, take a bath, and relax with some ice and ice-cold water. Just thinking about it excited him.

"Boss!" The small voice that seemed to be calling him made him stop. When he looked behind him, he could see a small, brown-haired puppy.

He didn't really know what prompted him, but in an instant, he had the little puppy in his arms, and something in his mind told him to run to a safe place to protect himself and the puppy.

"Boss, what are you doing? You're sweating a lot." Looking at the bush of fur in his arms, he grunted a little. The pup didn't know what was happening, and he needed to take care of him, now.

Before he could think about the situation any further, he started running with the child in his arms. He heard a muffled little cry in his chest, but he ignored it.

The objective was clear: to wrap him up and protect him.

Far from where this was happening were a small, raven-haired alpha and a small, pink-haired omega.

They were waiting for their blond teammate and their tardy sensei. They were in a strange situation; their sensei not arriving at the scheduled time was one thing, but their teammate leaving them waiting so long was another story.

Naruto was one of those who got most frustrated when Kakashi-sensei didn't arrive. He wanted to train and do cool missions all the time, and being left waiting was awful for him. At least that's what Sasuke, the alpha, thought. Even though he didn't want to, he couldn't help but notice his partner and his omega teammate, who was trying to flirt with him while complaining about the rest of the team's lateness. Certainly, even after their mission in the Land of Waves, the girl hadn't changed much in her behavior towards him.

Just as he was about to tell her to be quiet and go train alone, a shock of silver hair and the scent of old books filled the air.

The older omega was standing on a tree branch, his single eye grinning.

"Guys!" The small shout towards them was like pressing a button that ignited the omega's fury, who had turned around to yell at him about his lateness.

"Where's Naruto?" The simple question from the only alpha made Kakashi turn to look at him.

"Ah, about that, Naruto won't be coming to training today."

"Why?"

"He's, so to speak, sick." The raven-haired man frowned slightly, nothing out of the ordinary.

"Naruto, sick?" The pink-haired girl's voice held doubt.

"Yes, sick, Sakura. Even the number one knucklehead ninja gets sick from time to time, you know?"

The girl puffed out her cheeks and turned her face slightly to avoid being seen. Seeing little reaction, Kakashi continued speaking.

"Well, it's simple, the training won't last as long as I thought. For now, we won't do any missions until the team is complete."

It's not like missions would help us much, the alpha thought. In the end, it would only be basic training, without combat. Usually, the one who fought with him was Naruto, the small, unintroduced teammate whose energy and combat stamina seemed endless. Sakura, although she was better than them at chakra control and genjutsu, her taijutsu wasn't the best; she was weak in stamina and couldn't last long in hand-to-hand combat to be of any help.

Everything ended around noon. She wasn't too tired, her gaze fixed on the orange sky. She was curious to know how Naruto was doing. The hyperactive dark-haired boy should at least be awake to receive some medicine.

Obviously not from him; if anyone asked, it was Kakashi-sensei who sent it.

She nodded to herself; it was a good plan. Completely ignoring her other teammate who was trying to ask him out, she walked out of the training field toward the village.

Everything would have gone well if, upon arriving at Naruto's house, the owner had answered her knocks.

Clearly, he was home; noises could be heard. They were completely ignoring him. He hadn't expected the sleeping blond boy to be any quieter, not at all. He could just hear the foxy boy talking to someone, or at least saying something; it was hard to make out.

With a weary sigh, he decided to knock on the boy's window. If he saw him, he'd have no choice but to let him in.

Walking around the apartment, he perched on the part of the roof facing the window. There he could finally see who the boy was with, and if he wasn't mistaken, it was the grandson of the Third Hokage.

They seemed to be huddled together on the bed, which looked more like a pile of blankets and old clothes trying to create an Omega nest, though with the few pillows and clothes, it didn't quite achieve the snugness Sasuke remembered from his childhood with his mother.

Naruto seemed to be stroking his neck and cheeks against the smaller head he held in his arms, and just when he thought the blond was going to speak, Sasuke shifted, making a little noise.

The blond head spun so fast that for a moment he thought it might break his neck. Looking at him closely, he could see his eyes with slit-like pupils, and besides the blue color, there was a golden ring in those furious eyes. The last thing that truly made him understand what was happening with Naruto's illness was how the boy placed the contraption behind him and slowly and analytically approached him, his mouth revealing large fangs that he knew could tear skin because of their similarity.

If it weren't for the window, he was sure he could smell Naruto's new scent. From his presentation and his behavior, he was certain he was an omega.

He thought for a moment about the situation he was getting himself into: a newly introduced omega trying to protect a pup.

Sasuke could try to present himself as a harmless or protective alpha, but it would all depend on how Naruto himself, in his primal mind, would perceive it.

It wouldn't be the rational Naruto judging him as a rival; it would be an omega detecting a danger to himself and the pup he was caring for. And he didn't need a furious omega who wanted to sink those fangs into his jugular, trying to end what he would recognize as a mere threat. With that in mind, he opened the window just a crack, slowly releasing his scent of burnt wood, like exposure therapy. The blond man inhaled the new aroma in the air, sniffing with his mouth open, fangs bared.

For a moment, he thought he had succeeded, that the Omega would accept him, but all his hopes were dashed when rage surged across Naruto's face. Without waiting for his reaction, Naruto moved swiftly toward him, throwing the window wide open, growling as he pushed him out.

Instead of falling as the Omega had hoped, the alpha leaped onto the roof on the other side. Naruto seemed unable to accept that his push had failed; he released a sour scent, trying to repel the Uchiha, and leaning slightly out the window, attempted to scratch him with those small claws, not yet fully developed like those of an adult Omega or alpha. The alpha, somewhat eager to end the whole show before the villagers came out and saw the spectacle, decided to do what he would later consider a stupid thing to do.

"Calm down, Omega," the commanding voice came out easily. But the result was not what he expected.

The blue eyes boiled with fury, a reddish hue tinged that gaze, the already spiky hair seemed to bristle.

It all came down to one thing: the commanding voice didn't work, and if that weren't enough, it worsened everything that could have been achieved. He only managed to take one step back toward the small floor with a railing before the Omega savagely threw him to the ground, growling on top of him. If it weren't for the alpha's pride, he would have bowed his head to the one he now believed to be not just an Omega, but a dominant one.

What a mess he'd gotten himself into. Only a dominant alpha could use a voice command to subdue a dominant omega, and last time he checked, Sasuke was just an alpha. Well, he'd messed up, nothing new. Now he'd have to prove he was a true alpha.

He had to stand up to Naruto, he had to show he could protect and not be finished off.

With a growl, he threw Naruto to the ground, turning him over without hesitation, and gently bit the blond's neck, like a father trying to control his twitchy little puppy.

The blond remained still for a second, and gradually his muscles seemed to go numb; he lay inert in the raven-haired man's fangs.

Taking advantage of the moment before his body could react, he led them both inside where the puppy still was. That was the end of their time; the blond was reverting to his aggression.

This time he took a new route, climbed onto his nest, and bared his teeth from there.

"Dobe, you're really being unbearable in your introduction."

The boy, hidden behind Naruto, seemed to finally realize he had managed to get into the apartment, and, confused, looked him up and down.

"You, what are you to Naruto?"

The question was simple, the answer even simpler.

"I'm this lunatic's teammate."

"Ha, the boss really beat you up outside."

The boy's mocking smile made a vein throb on his forehead, but seeing that he couldn't do much with Naruto protecting the kid, he sighed listlessly.

And the whole exchange seemed to interest the little Omega between the two. He watched the pup interact without fear of the idiot alpha in front of him, and as much as he wanted to sink his fangs into him and break his bones so he wouldn't give him another order, he relaxed. His mouth snapped shut, and very carefully, testing his luck, he exposed the pup just a little.

Seeing a possible truce, the alpha decided to approach the duo slowly, taking some sweets from his pocket and attempting to offer his peace offering to the omega so he could assess if it was enough.

The omega sniffed and then took a sweet. Seeing that he didn't open it, Sasuke took one and ate it; it was proof that everything was safe. The omega, now more confident, gave it to the little pup, who happily received it and automatically put it in his mouth. With Konohamaru radiating happiness in his unmistakable milky scent, Naruto made his decision.

Moving aside the nest, he extended an invitation for the foolish alpha to join them. With his chin held high, Naruto seemed to be bestowing an absolute honor rather than simply finally yielding to the Uchiha's attempts to calm him down. Sasuke, not trusting that at any moment he might be kicked out of the nest, huddled against the wall.

He released a little of his scent, now more confident of being received by the boy who, just moments before, he'd been certain wanted to kill him. Naruto, like the reasonable Omega he considered himself to be, took the child with him to cuddle with Sasuke.

The pup needed an alpha to protect him, and he had found one; yes, he was an excellent Omega.

Proud of everything he thought he had accomplished, he released his scent, which until now had turned sour. The scent of sunlight was what Sasuke and Konohamaru received; it seemed as if the sun were beating down on them, their clothes freshly laundered and dried by its bright light.

A perfect scent that made them relax. The blond boy unconsciously began to rub himself between the two to leave his mark, clearly conveying the nuance of protection and affection within his pheromones.

Indeed, an extremely unusual introduction, and who cared how the child the village considered a demon would handle the introduction of the second gender? Well, maybe that kid's sensei was watching with one eye as three boys fell asleep in a cozy nest.

The older Omega simply went to the window, leaving a blanket with his scent over them. Closing the window, he decided to check on them later. It was obvious Naruto would have to return Konohamaru by this afternoon, so afterward, he'd have to comfort the little dominant Omega like the good sensei he was. The boy's instincts were running high, but when he saw an older Omega, he'd revert to being the pup that belonged to him.

After all, that was the pup his sensei had entrusted to him, and perhaps his Omega had grown a little too attached to him.

But what could he do? For now, he wouldn't bother the trio. Who knew how Sasuke would react if he knew he'd seen him rolling around on the floor thanks to his blond teammate?

Yes, he preferred to give them some space.

And if he took a picture, well, only he would know.

Notes:

I actually wrote this fanfic because of the little I've found about Omega introductions, especially in Naruto. I really just wanted a fluffy moment with a wild and proud Naruto and Sasuke trying to control the damage. Plus, I wanted to see Naruto protecting his little boy Konohamaru, who always follows him around—such a cute little thing 💖.

Anyway, this is one of my first works on this platform. I think I'll post the ones I have on Wattpad, but I still need to translate them. So, I hope you like it! If I have the time, I'll post a second part!
