The music was growing louder. “Will?” Mike called. Nothing. Again. He shuffled down the hallway, stopping in his tracks when he reached Will’s open door.
Will’s very open door.
Mike first noticed the expression painted across Will’s face. Exhilaration. Restraint. Pleasure. His cheeks were flushed pink, his head thrown back to reveal a blooming bruise at the base of his throat. His lips were parted in a silent gasp. His eyes were squeezed shut. His biceps were tensed against his tee-shirt and Mike followed the muscles down to his forearms, down to his wrists, to the fingers of his right hand curling tightly in the hair of-
The hair of another guy. A shirtless guy with a freckled back. On his knees.
Bowie’s tender prose rang out across the room.
Will opened his eyes, gaze meeting Mike’s dumbfounded one.
“Get out.” Will bit out, eyes glittering with something Mike couldn’t place, and Mike’s stomach dropped.

Then Mike gets about two-thirds of the way to the front seat before he gets cut off by the back passenger side door opening, and a wide ass hand shoving him down across the back seats. Can’t even properly screech in outrage before there’s an ENTIRE Will Byers sitting on top of him, and then Mike and his childhood best friend are wrestling each other in a mess of grown ass limbs in the back of a goddamn Suburu sedan.“
