Eijirou Kirishima grows up next door to the Rappas, who care for him during his mother's late shifts at the hospital. The Rappas' son Kendo should be the ideal playmate—he's an alpha just like Kirishima and only two years older than him. As they grow up together, however, Kendo Rappa becomes...aggressive. Almost villainous. He insists that no omega is tough enough to handle him, but he's still adamant that he'll only take an omega as a mate—and Kirishima doesn't understand what he really wants until it's too late.
Most of this fic is set during Kirishima's first year at U.A. following traumatic events. The primary ship is bakukiri...with complications. It's second person POV but not reader-insert. If you're not used to 2nd POV, give it a chance—maybe you'll be surprised!

Summary
Etho is rotting behind a mask of silk and gold, counting the dead by the toll of a cracked brass bell. Impulse, his jester, hasn't aged in centuries. Doc, his scholar has been sent west to find dragons. And somewhere in the Red Evergreen, the firewitch Cleo is keeping Bdubs alive for reasons she won't explain.
The forest didn't look wrong. That was the worst part — the trees were green, the birds were singing, the path was clear. It was only when the birdsong looped for the third time, note for note, that you understood nothing here was alive.

Summary

The prince of the kingdom, Bdubs, ventures out into space to find a cure. He finds it, and saves his people from certain death.
But in doing so, he unknowingly changed the trajectory of the newest Hermitcraft season entirely, and must confront the fact that he has doomed all of the hermits to a terrible fate.
