“Geralt, please, I... can... let me explain, please...” Jaskier’s voice wavers and he takes another step back. Geralt strengthens his grip on the blood-soaked sword still in his hand and glares at Jaskier. At who he thought was Jaskier but is clearly something else.
“What have you done with Jaskier?” His voice comes out as a savage snarl, his teeth clenched together, every muscle in his body tense like he’s a string pulled tight, ready to snap even at the smallest sign.
“I am Jaskier. Geralt, please, you have to believe me...!” Jaskier’s voice hitches as Geralt takes a step closer stalking towards the bard in slow steady steps careful not to startle the bard before he’s close enough to strike.
“Where’s the real Jaskier?”

Summary
Jaskier notices things, all sorts of things, but he does tend to lose focus too quickly to take those many observations and actually connect the dots between them, sometimes.
When your brain whirls about as fast as Jaskier’s does, remembering things like taking your meds and paying your phone bill tend to slip your mind rather easily, that’s to say nothing of perceiving things that are apparently terribly obvious to everyone else but him!
So maybe it has been almost three years that Jaskier has been flatsharing with Geralt, and while overall it has been a very amicable and efficient living situation, it isn't Jaskier's fault that he never realized Geralt is a professional Dominant who maybe also sometimes sees his clients in the flat they share, which would explain the weird private office that Geralt has but doesn't use for his day job as a vet tech.

“Are you alright?” Jaskier asks. He’s been dragged outside again during the middle of one of his sets. That’s fine. He was almost expecting it. Geralt has become a little bit predictable, and a bad mood usually means he’ll want a quick pick me up at some point.
“I will be in a moment,” Geralt growls, and he pushes Jaskier up against the wall.
And it's fine. Normal. New normal. Jaskier goes and he goes happily and willingly. But there’s something that is tugging on his mind, something that aches.
He doesn’t put his finger on it until afterwards. “You really will have to start being more patient. I do need to make a living – and you dragging me away in the middle of my songs all the time is bad for business.”
Geralt gives a chuckle, “you’re saving money on the whorehouses, are you not?”
And oh.
Geralt is using him for sex.

Jaskier feels it the moment the words leave Geralt’s lips. A rush of energy flooding from his core to the tips of his fingers and toes.
‘Oh no,’ he thinks. The magic spills from him like wine from a glass and before he can grab it, it’s done. He’s bound. Geralt’s wish has been granted.
