I just love how as almost soon as Jim meets Spock his focus is all on him, and it’s not that long before it is entirely mutual. Uhura is awesome and she doesn’t let Jim’s antics get in the way of her sass and Bones certainly doesn’t let them get in the way of his grump. Really a fun little read.

I love that the Jaeger program is entirely Muggle, just science, and ingenuity, and I can see why Newt would be enthralled. I also love all the glimpses into Newt’s past. Hermann is perfect and his calm reaction to magic right up until Newt does something as simple as clean his clothes off, is priceless.
