To have something is to lose something, and Mark used to have it all. The pieces of what was lay around him, and his blood spiderwebs across every fragment he tries to pick back up. It'd be better if he let them be.
If only he hadn't borne witness to hope, seen it personified in a sharp smile and determined eyes. If only he had known better.

Summary
Ten's been crushing on jaeger legend and ace pilot Taemin for a while. The man inspired him to both be a pilot and join the Nagasaki Shatterdome, and Ten is always doing his best to impress him.
Eventually the time comes to be paired up and he's matched with Kai, a brilliant former jaeger pilot whose previous partner had left the job after falling in love and settling down.
Kai is easy to befriend and the perfect co pilot, and it's not hard for Ten to quickly develop a crush on him too.
He's smart, and funny, and caring, and—apparently, Taemin's boyfriend.
