But, more pressingly, will Shouxue free herself from the talons of Niao Lian before she is completely consumed? And, of course, the ever-present threat...will the Owl come back?
Multiple points of view but mostly Shouxue and Gaojun. There's action here but also I just really love all these characters vibing together and I want more of that. I'm sorry Wen Ying I love him and I don't want to see him suffer but also dynamics like these are fun to write so suffer he shall.
