Summary
Lothiriel and her mother had defended their home to the last, and lived. But how does one recover when so much has changed, so much has been lost? Learning to live with her injuries in a newly born world, Lothiriel of Dol Amroth follows her father's advice to spend time on herself. In Rohan, he said, there is much she could learn from their shieldmaidens. Eomer King, a dear friend, was sure to take care of his daughter.
Maybe together, they can clear a road home.

TLDR: Lothiriel is a war hero, her mother is alive (shock horror), and Imrahil is trying to be the best dad he can be. Eomer is appropriately starry eyed and lovesick. Horse and swan hijinks ensue. -

Summary
An exhausted Lothiriel takes refuge from her day of helping the Healers during the battle of Pelennor. She falls asleep in a half-ruined guard tower on the walls, but is awakened by the arrival of a battle weary warrior, a horselord from the north.
