Summary
Tommy and Technoblade are chosen for an infiltration mission in the nether. Tommy has the stealth skills, Techno brings the nether and battle knowledge. They are successful, but on their way home, Tommy gets kidnapped by piglins that think he's a shoat. Techno had to convince them to give him back.
Or,
Techno pretends to be Tommy's dad.

“How old are you?” Technoblade asked.
“Fifteen,” the boy said, jutting out his sharp little chin as if to compensate for the whole head of height he lacked next to the second shortest boy in the row. Technoblade felt a headache prickling at his temples.
“I will ask that again. Think of your answer carefully this time. How old are you?”
The boy looked up. He had eyes the color of sky before dawnbreak, and fire in them that burned more fiercely than a star newly born.
“I'm fifteen, sir,” he repeated without a shade of doubt. “Old enough for war.”
***
When Commander Technoblade is given a soldier to train who is clearly much too young, he makes everything in his power to make him leave. Unfortunately for him, Tommy is stubborn. Phil has an amusing time watching Technoblade trying not to get attached to the kid (and failing miserably). Somehow it turns into a story of learning to live and letting go.

Summary
Tommy wished someone would listen to him. Dream hadn't meant to bury him alive. This whole thing, Dream in prison and Tommy in the foster system—it was all a big misunderstanding.
"I know," Sam said again. He held the door for Tommy. "I know the family that's going to foster you. Will it help if I tell you a bit about them?"

Summary
"Tommy, kids are always going to be assholes." Phil says, for once sounding like a robot, almost monotone in that way Techno's tone is on the daily. "Just ignore them. They're probably just miserable and," Phil lifts one hand and waves it around, gesturing, before bringing it back down to continue typing. He doesn't turn around to look at Tommy at all. "—you know." he sighs.
"You can a handle it." his dad says. "Just— grow up. Be the bigger person."
A heavy weight like a stone drops in Tommy's stomach. He feels it, and with the stone, his heart as well. For a second, he thinks he might be sick.
Just grow up.
"O—oh." Tommy chokes, feeling a ball forming in his throat, blocking it up, causing tears to prick at his eyes. He goes to try to speak around it, but—
"Is there anything else you need?" Phil asks, endlessly facing away, still not even bothering to face Tommy. "I'm really busy, kiddo."

Summary
Tommy has killed 36 people.
The weapon in Tommy’s hands does not shake. It is steady, almost impossibly so, and Tommy will not miss his target. This is a fact that he knows. He knows the sun will rise, he knows the tide will leave, he knows he will hit his shot; Tommy is incapable of missing. He is perfect. It's his job to be perfect, and without this job, Tommy is nothing, so his hands are steady. He remembers the names of all 36 people. Not because he feels remorse or guilt, in all honesty, Tommy doesn't think he can feel. He remembers because no one else will. No one but him.
James Richard. This is a name Tommy will never forget, because, at the very least, he can remember him. At the very least he can remember his name.
He pulls the trigger.
37. Tommy has killed 37 people.
Or
Tommy is a trained mercenary who hasn't heard anything other than Dream's voice for the past seventeen years of his life.
Wilbur is worried.
