Katsuki regards him again from the corner of his eye. Heat starts to creep up his neck, and a moment later he's hacking and wheezing into the crook of his arm.

"You know the feelings of love, lust, hate, longing, annoyance. Izuku was a human so originally he also felt all these feelings for different people, which of hate was the least he would say he felt towards someone. He was also a man of his word and he strongly believed going over your word was something not a good hero would do. He had lots of morals, things he thought was wrong or right, believes and topics he would openly talk about any day at any hour.
Bakugou katsuki out of this all was the one big, annoying and exhausting task Izuku yet had to figure out. He somehow felt all the mentioned feelings towards this one person."

Izuku finds out his closest friend and his childhood friend who kinda can't stand him are dating. that fact makes him realize that maybe the feelings he has are not just friendly. this is just three idiots who are in love but don't know how to say it. with angst, funny and the side of shinkami. -

Shoto never thought he could be gentle- until loving Katsuki and Izuku taught him how.
Not in the way he wants, but in the ways that mattered. Listening to them, helping them, guiding them towards eachother even as it tears him apart. He becomes the one who holds their secrets, the one who helps them understand what they can’t say aloud. And now- as he watches them slowdance, looking at eachother in way that he could only pray for- he realises that becoming this way was never meant to make him theirs.
Only to help them become eachothers.

No matter how much it hurt.
Long after the war Bakugou finally confesses his feelings for Midoriya, who accepts his affections wholeheartedly. Neither of them know that this has shaken Shouto to his core. Maybe it's okay, Katsuki realises, for the early bird to miss the worm if it means he can enjoy this thing he yearned for long before he was brave enough to give it a name.
