Bucky doesn’t even notice the time passing before there’s the tell-tale sound of a commotion at the entrance to their floor. Instinctively, Bucky abandons his computer with his charts to check on whoever is coming in, only to find a small team of one man and two women in strapping black suits coming through the doors.
Along with, fucking hell, Captain America in all of his casual clothes glory.

Bucky Barnes is a paediatric nurse in NYU Langone Hospital in Brooklyn, going through the motions. Everything gets a bit more interesting when Captain America comes in to visit some patients, and suddenly Bucky is faced with his crush which is most definitely not a crush on Sam Wilson.

When Asa met Anthony, there was something familiar about him. Something warm and easy, like coming home. They were both in their late thirties, approaching the stage where people accept they either need to make a dating profile or adopt some cats. They had both accepted that, but when Asa met Anthony, he couldn't help but feel different.
