Emma is a girl with a horrible past and uncertain future. She's stranded in a horrible excuse of an orphanage, or prison more likely, with the head lady as insane as ever. She treats all the children like slaves, working them to the bone. She kicks them out at twelve years old finding any child above the age useless.
Her only escape is what is expected of a typical tween. Fiction. She loves books, movies, video games, anything to distract her from her horrible life. Walt Disney's Treasure Planet happens to have a soft spot in her heart.
Some how she finds herself in the world of the movie! It seems like things are going right but the uncertainty she had about her family is coming apart.

A long time ago a girl named Vanessa Kendrick disappeared from Jim Hawkins's 5th grade class. He vaguely knew her, so he didn't think too much of it until the same girl showed up on a pirate ship about to raid his. The crew of the R.L.S. Legacy was victorious and Vanessa was taken as an unexpected prisoner. She was allowed to stay on the ship as they journeyed to Treasure Planet, and over time Jim gets the quiet, shy girl to loosen up and live life.

As Captain of his own ship and crew, Jim Hawkins is known and trusted, and by some he is feared throughout the Galaxy. When he happens upon a ship of pirates and seizes them, he and his men gather up the stolen goods. Among the treasures they find, there is one chest in particular that holds something, or rather, someone far more valuable than any treasure map, gold coin or ruby: a girl.
She harbours a secret so dangerous, and so intriguing, that it could mean the very destruction of the whole galaxy if not kept behind her lips. But what's more, if she hopes to survive that secret must be told.
