Summary
He is the Once and Future King. Take heart, for when Albion's need is greatest: Arthur will return.
It is these words that keep Merlin at the shores of Avalon. Even centuries after the lake dried up, millennia after its true name was lost, Merlin stays, waiting for his King to return.
***
Glastonbury Tor calls out in the dark, and some seek to answer.
In between fighting for his life and trying to uncover what might cause the end of the world, Jon Sims stumbles across a mysterious selection of statements that point not only toward Glastonbury, but to the very heart of Arthurian Myth itself.***
Linked through nightmares and each grappling with the changes in the world around them, Merlin and Jon, with the help of their team, must uncover when Albion's need will be greatest, and what they can do to stop it.

“What's it this time? Vampires again, or-” His eyes opened, and he stood face to face with neon green, flowery wallpaper. Gerry blinked. “Well, that's new. Not very well hidden for a hiding spot, huh?”
“Whoever said I wanted to stay hidden?” Gerard startled. The voice was familiar – twisted in a way to make it nigh unrecognisable, but heartachingly familiar even in its spiraling distortion.
or,
Being dead kind of really sucks a lot. Maybe some company can make it tolerable?

“Beholdinged?” Melanie asked.
“Yeah, you know.” Basira gestured to her eyes and made some spooky hand motions. “With The Eye. Beholdinged.”
“No, I know what you’re talking about, but… it’d be Beholded, wouldn’t it?”

Summary
The thing about Jon was that people didn't tend to like him. It was something he'd always known about himself, and something he'd made peace with, even if it occasionally hurt more than he was willing to admit. But it was alright, it was fine, really. He'd rather just be in his own company, anyways. It was the best option for everyone involved.
So why, then, had he been invited to an office Halloween party? Why was he actually considering going to it? And why did he get so nervous whenever he thought about Martin?
"Because it's important to have cordial relations with coworkers in the workplace," Jon lied to himself.

A no-fears Halloween AU in which there is lots of friendship, lots of costuming, and just all of my favorite silly little guys.

Summary
Martin realized he liked keeping their relationship a secret. Martin preferred to keep important things close, and Jon had a strong desire to keep his personal and professional lives separate. Jon played up his small irritations, even including some comments on the recordings. And few things were funnier than Tim and Sasha trying to figure out why Jon hated Martin so much.
But Martin is far too in love with Jon for his own good, and he should've expected that one day, he wouldn't hide his smile at Jon's antics fast enough.
It's the beginning of the end, really.
