Most vigilantes would have been alarmed by that, but he’d found that the ghosts didn’t really give a damn about secret identities. Why would you when you’re dead?

    Soon, Jason got used to the familiar cold breath at his shoulder and the hum as it popped and fizzled into being.

    The ghost was also curious, buzzing vague thoughts and emotions that Jason was getting better and better at deciphering. It buzzed that same question as before, but by now it had taken on a new meaning. Not a question, but an affirmation.
