Dick finds a human-sized doll in the Batcave that looks just like Jason. It’s wearing Jason’s clothes, or what looks like Jason’s clothes. It has Jason's short black hair, Jason's baby face, and the graceful length of Jason's body. If Jason were a life-sized doll, this is exactly what he would look like.
The strangest part, Dick thinks a little uneasily, is that no one has seen the real Jason for a while now. That can't be a coincidence, can it?
Bruce doesn’t want to tell Dick where he got the doll or how it was made. But if you want it, he says, you can take it home and use it as you wish.
So that’s exactly what Dick does.

After everything that's happened, Dick honestly never thought he'd see another Jason ever again, let alone his own.
So the fact that his little wing is pointing a gun at him and doesn't seem to remember him doesn't worry him at all. It's just an incredible opportunity. A second chance. A blank slate.
(You don't have to have read any of the Earth-3 series to get this. But, in the same vain as those, this isn't very nice).
