Summary
The doorbell chimes cheerfully, and Wilbur draws his attention to the door.
“That’s probably the pizza.”
“Yeah, I’m sure it is. I’ll get it.” Wilbur plucks Techno’s wallet from the side table and crosses the space between the living room and the front door, nudging his shoes aside in favor of answering the door.
Wilbur opens the door, creaky hinges and all, and stops. Gilded in the moth light is a boy- young and old at the same time, a golden halo dirtied and worn. His eyes are familiar- a sight he had not seen in three years time.
Wilbur stares at his little brother, who stares right back. Then he shifts, taps a toe on the ground, and clears his throat.
“I didn’t.. I didn’t know where else to go.”

Three years ago Wilbur's foster brother ran away without a trace. Wilbur never quite got over it, but was forced to move on with his life, certain he'd never see him again- until Tommy reappears on his doorstep one fateful Tuesday. Healing ensues.

“Wanna play?” Wilbur asks. His arm lowers, displaying his racket to further explain what he meant. He continues when it looks like the boy is halfway to refusing and scurrying off, “Just a quick one.” Wilbur shrugs. “I won’t keep you for long. Maybe just one set.”
The court is entirely silent, not a single sound being ricocheted off equipment and blown along by the light breeze as the kid seems to… consider.
Wilbur hopes, anyway. It almost makes unease pool in his gut, how empty he’s looked up until this point. It’s nearly unnoticeable, and it is completely silent as he shifts on the balls of his feet once, twice, three times, and then—
“Ok.”
Or, in which Wilbur is a world-renowned tennis player and going on fourth-time winner of the Manburg Open, and Tommy is a ball boy on the run from his past. (for sports day :))

Percy was captured by Kronos' forces when he was thirteen years old. After two years of hell on earth and agony in general, he manages to break free. With his mortality thinning out more and more along with his patience and will to live, he only has one goal anymore before he's done with being alive – and that goal is killing Luke Castellan and by extension, Kronos.
Along the way, he meets some new and old friends, makes acquaintances and navigates his fight against the Time Lord from underneath a deadly maze. He finds out things about himself and the war that he didn't know before, destroys way too many things, and completely derails his powers and himself in the process. His father said it best once upon a time, when he wasn't a monster yet and still had hell coming for him. The sea does not like to be restrained, and neither does he.
It starts with an explosion, continues with earthquakes, and will ultimately be finished with a decision. Will he preserve Olympus – or will he raze it to the ground?
