How would the auto-detect for images work? Would it automatically label a work as a visual file?
I know of AT LEAST one major long work of fiction in the Sherlock fandom that incorporated photos as a huge part of the story -- they weren't visual works that stood alone, and the piece was not a visual work itself.
My understanding (and what I'd like to see) would be that it would just show up like wordcount e.g. you'd see the wordcount + number (/resolution?) of images in the header information.
And that if there *was* a wordcount, or at least a wordcount of, say, >100, it wouldn't be auto-categorized as "art" if the author selected "work type: fic". (Though ticky boxes rather than radio buttons would be good for multimedia works, so an illustration-heavy fic could potentially be categorized as both fic and art for search purposes if the creator felt both aspects were essential)
