Oh this is so good. Din’s guilt about the Tribe makes me ache. I’m glad he has the little one to pull him out of those dark memories. And even though there’s this melancholic thread, I love that you’ve still managed to convey warmth in Din and Grogu’s love for one another: “This signet means we take care of each other. That’s what Mandalorians do.” Yeah!!! 🥺

It's hard because I think Mandalorians half-expect to die on any given day, but even with that mindset, it must have been so difficult to lose so many -- and to know that if he'd handled the situation differently, maybe looped them all in on it sooner, or just never given Grogu to the Client to begin with, etc. -- that maybe things would have been different. In this case there was a clear line from Din's actions to the loss of the Tribe, and that's undeniable. It's a helluva weight to carry. But it's a little easier with a Grogu to look after. <3
