I hope the new kudos button reduces the server strain by a lot! I know the site continues to grow in popularity. I'm really impressed that the site hasn't had too much downtime because of it.
Since you guys are confident enough to have added "Fanwork types" to the ToS, does that mean a feature to that effect will be going live soon? Have you been taking public feedback on dealing with fanwork types anywhere? I feel like this is one of those things users (especially users who produce "types" other than the common fic) would have some good input for you about. I'm just really curious about your plans for this, so if you could give me any information at all, I will love you forever. ♥
We don't have an estimated date on any future features. Fanwork Types, especially, would require significant edits to sections of the code, which would involve a lot of testing to make sure we don't break anything.
As for comments and feedback, we've been collecting it on a news post and through the Support form, primarily. We are also considering how users are improvising with the current Archive setup. If you have any thoughts, I'd recommend either the news post or a Support ticket!
