Dude this is such a great premise. And it's Frontier! It's so hard to find good Frontier fic nowadays.
Poor Takuya probably thought he was still in Narnia time, but nah. That'll be so nuts trying to explain Digimon and the Digital World to his family while also trying to insert himself back into a world and a life that have moved on without him. Takuya's reappearance is likely to open old wounds, especially his poor parents.
(There was a really old Disney movie with a similar premise called Flight of the Navigator, except the kid was gone for like 10 years before coming back. You should check it out, it's a fairly entertaining movie for how old it is.)
