Hey choom, thanks for the comment as always. This chapter is definitely one of my personal favorites.... I feel it really helps add some more depth to not only the narrative but the characters within it as well..... Finding these pockets and moments of genuine connection and sort of impulsive passion between people in a place as deceptive and dangerous as Night City are often the types of experiences that greatly affect people for better or for worse.
Due to how rare and fleeting experiences like those can be, they tend to get extreme reactions in either direction; whether that be to either hold onto them and not let go or sort of push them away and forget. I feel often as people whenever we're faced with such extremes we can sometimes forego a lot of reason and end up making decisions that lead to results we probably never wanted to begin with
