Asami still had her back turned to her wife, even as she wrapped her arms around her waist, pulling her hair out of the way and placing a kiss on the crook of her neck. Korra heard the small whimper from the back of Asami’s throat, it choked its way out, her pain aching to be heard. As quickly as she had gotten upstairs to be with her wife, she was determined to make Asami feel better.
