This was both really interesting and really fucked Jo. Derek is creepy as shit. It’s always a joy to read a fic where the author takes on a different approach to concerning behaviour the characters act out in canon that is often brushed over, and expand on it. Derek having stalked stiles isn’t really something acknowledged, but the way in which this was written had me rolling about and getting upset because of how fucking creepy this guy could be.
I enjoyed how oblivious Stiles was, and how even after every moment of weakness Issac had, he couldn’t help but go back for more. It’s sad, and kind of disgusting, Derek’s obsession and need for stiles so much to the point he had Issac down right tortured for touching him. Even more so, when the realization that stiles was 16-17 years old while all of this is happening.
I love that they moved on with their lives, that they healed and finally opened up to each other, I hate though, that Derek suffered no repercussion for what he did, both to Issac and what he intended to do and was on the verge of doing to stiles. I hate that he got essentially got his happy ending with Braeden, and how even Scott, who had been stiles ride or die, had decided to forgive and forget Derek for what he did. -
