This series is based directly on episodes of the cartoon but is using "extensions" which tweaks view on the canon without directly changing known history.

Episodes in MLB++ are not using Marinette/Adrien POV and can be a result of miraculous magic used by Ladybug or Chat Noir.

Powers of kwamis/miraculous is heavily modified/extended past known canon abilities.

If you are interested in the series you can check The Maturity of Adrien Agreste which is using somewhat similar to MLB++ view on the cartoon but without any change to kwamis or their powers. The story is just using things the fandom ignored viewing earlier series.
