Tommy wished, with all his heart, that his family wouldn’t say it.
“You’re a healer!” Techno continued, reaching over to ruffle his hair.
His tears did not stop flowing.
“Oh, Tommy, why are you still crying?” Wilbur asked, sitting up to comfort him. He pressed his thumb against the corner of Tommy’s eyes, who wouldn’t stop tearing up and sniffling.
“My ability is shit.”
