Summary
Akaashi couldn't be more thankful toward the Bokuto family. They took him in when his own family hurt him, letting him live in their home, letting him date their son, and loving him. Even when Bokuto dragged him around a fair all day, introducing him to so many things that it gave him whiplash, he couldn't help but be thankful towards his boyfriend and his supportive family.
After they got out, Bokuto grabbed his hand again. "So?! How'd you like it!" He asked, bounding.
One second went by, then, "Let's get in line again."

Summary
Akaashi is used to the emotionless and apathetic dynamic that rests over himself and his parent's relationships. But when his parents start fighting, it all gets worse. Thankfully Bokuto is a good friend, a great friend. And when worse comes to worst, Akaashi finds that being a warm and loving person runs in the family.
He bit his lips and knocked. He was about to lose his nerve and leave when the door opened.
"I-I'm sorry Ma'am, I'm looking for Bokuto? Ah, your son?" His voice waved as he spoke, and a small hiccup left him after, tears still falling down his face. It was only then that he remembered to bow.
"Oh, honey," Akaashi only cried harder at the soft tone and gentle nickname. Warm hands coaxed him out of his bow and helped him inside.
*This can be read as a stand-alone story*
