“The stars were everywhere, falling and shattering around him and setting the ground ablaze.
Steve let out a scream of terror.”In an attempt to save his team, Steve lets Hydra take him in their place, the super soldier that they could never achieve. He knows them, knows their techniques of torture - he will be fine.
That is, until Hydra decides that breaking someone mentally is far more effective than breaking them physically.
Steve is soon subjected to a hallucinogen gas that, if he isn’t saved in time, will destroy him completely.
