"The Valley", my fannish magnum opus, tells the story of how Elrond Peredhel leads the refugees from Ost-in-Edhil to the north to find and found Imladris. The main story is not yet published, but a few smaller stories taking place in that storyverse are collected in this series.
- Notes:
The first draft to "The Valley" was written as my first NaNoWriMo project in 2013, but is sadly still not anywhere near posting state. Back then I was new to the Tolkien online fandom and lacked a lot of canon knowledge and writing experience, which both badly showed in the story. I've been working on and off on it since then, fixing major plotholes and other issues, and hope to have something to show sometime in 2023.

Summary
When Ost-in-Edhil falls, Galadriel flees with her daughter to the safety of Lindórinand, while Celeborn has to follow his duty and safeguard the flight of the last refugees from the city. Between the worry about his fate, the loss of their city, and an uncertain future, Galadriel rediscovers a part of herself she had ignored for far too long, and finds freedom again.
