Morgan and Peter had been kidnapped, physically and psychologically tortured…but Tony got them back. He reminded himself of that fact every time he rocked them to sleep after a nightmare. Every time he checked the darkness for monsters that they all knew were real.
They had been rescued. They were fine.
Physically.
Mentally...that would take some time.
Tony and Pepper vow to be there to see their kids through to the other side.
