Each 'Theme Series' is inspired by a particular song and the central theme or idea of that song.

'Theme Series: Sweetest Downfall' is based on the song "Samson" by Regina Spektor. It specifically meditates on the idea of what or who is the 'sweetest downfall' for the character(s) and what that 'sweetest downfall' means for them and the world around them. It will only be based on the Harry Potter universe.

Since a theme series is based on a particular theme, each of the fics are completely stand-alone. They are ONLY connected because of the central theme and NOT through the plot or characters' relationships. So feel free to pick and choose whichever fics you are interested in.

Author's Note 1: Each theme series is inspired by a particular song. It uses some of the lyrics of that song for section breaks to: illustrate what is happening or how the characters feel and to set mood. The lyrics do not have to be used in order, nor are all the lyrics used.

Author's Note 2: So far, each of my theme series are based on a specific ship/pairing (romantic or friendship), but that may not always hold true. It is also important to note that each fic may contain het, slash, femslash, or multi. I will always provide warnings and if you don't like a particular type of fic or a specific pairing, just skip over it and go on to the next story within the series. Once again, they are not connected in any way except by the central them.
