Summary
“Jealous that he finally upgraded to someone much better than you?” Jaemin snips, turning his nose up at Jeno haughtily.
Jeno narrows his eyes at him briefly before smoothing his features into an expression that is much too nonchalant. Something about that look doesn’t sit right with Jaemin and he knows that he won’t like the next words that come out of Jeno's mouth.
“Well, seeing that the guy he’s making out with is your ex, I’d say he upgraded as well,” he answers airily, taking yet another sip of his beer as if he didn’t just drop a bomb on Jaemin's head (and his heart).
OR
Despite knowing each other almost all their lives, Jeno and Jaemin have never gotten along. Yet now, after being dumped by their respective boyfriends, they've decided to hatch a harebrained scheme to make their exes jealous by engaging in a fake relationship.
Unfortunately, things don't go according to plan when they end up falling for each other instead.

“I can’t believe that we have to sit here and listen to our exes have sex,” Jaemin grumbles, “This is just the heights of cruelty.”
The sounds of the bed next door creaking, along with the grunts and moans of Mark and Donghyuck filter through the much too thin walls.
“You know, we don’t have to listen to them,” Jeno drawls, “We can always just tune them out.”
Jaemin raises an eyebrow at Jeno in disbelief, “And how exactly do you propose that we do that?”
“We beat them at their own game,” Jeno smirks wickedly at Jaemin, “I know for a fact that I can fuck you so much better than Mark is currently fucking Donghyuck and I make you scream louder than him too.”

Where Jeno and Jaemin decide to test the limits to see how much louder they can be when having sex right next door to their exes.
