Summary
This is a teaser/preview for my upcoming longer fanfiction titled "Sing to Me" which is a story about Raiden and Sam.
Sam gets revived against his will by Wilhelm "Doktor" Voigt and has to take over Raiden's old job as 'payment' for his artificial organs keeping him alive.
Unable to kill himself, he suffers greatly with guilt, finding himself irredeemable after what he had done under Desperado's hand. He feels like life is pointless - until Raiden suddenly appears at Maverick's doorstep, visibly in distress.
Sam feels like Raiden is a hero to him, after having learned from Kevin Washington what Raiden had accomplished with the help of Samuel's Murasama. He desperately wants to get to know Raiden and be close to him, but the man refuses to talk to him more than necessary.How they find to each other and fight alongside each other and fall in love will be told in Sing to Me.
The title of the fic is inspired by the song by MISSIO.Thanks to Haru and Lars for correcting my Portuguese.

Summary
Raiden wakes up in the middle of the night, finding himself stranded somewhere in Auckland, New Zealand and a part of his memory is missing. As he returns to his family, he is promptly kicked out by Rose and is told to never come back again. Confused and hurt, he returns to Maverick in the US, as he has nowhere else to go.
To his surprise, he runs into his former enemy and now ally (?) Samuel Rodrigues - Jetstream Sam there and is told that Sam is basically replacing him at his old job.With a completely messed up memory, Raiden is trying to hide from everyone that his relationship with Rose is over and that he is all by himself now with no support, trying to eradicate the rest of Desperado and similar PMCs who cause terror all across the globe. He is annoyed but also confused as to why of all people, Sam is trying to stay by his side and help him.
Sam figures out that something is seriously wrong with Raiden and tries to make him aware of what's going on, but Raiden doesn't want to hear it.
Not until Sam becomes an important part of his life and it becomes unthinkable of them ever being separate again, despite all of Raiden's issues that make their relationship rather difficult.Series
