This story will tackle the questions we (or at least I) have been pondering for months. What if Benedict was not completely oblivious to what was going on between Kate and Anthony in Kent? What if Daphne shared her suspicions with someone? What if Mr. Dorset was invited to Aubrey Hall with the rest of the ton? What if Season 2 depicted a different love triangle, one that did not pit two sisters against one another?

Summary
Anthony and Kate take turns managing their mutual obsession, their overeager families and their own lingering insecurities. Takes place over the course of a week of their betrothal period.
This story picks up a couple weeks after the end of my other story, A Moment With Miss Sharma, but if you do not feel like reading 100k plus words, just know that it takes place in a Season 2 AU where Anthony ends his engagement to Edwina before the Hearts & Flowers Ball --> courts Kate instead --> lots of cute flirting and ogling --> engagement scene in front of Aubrey Hall with the right Sharma sister --> happy ever after.
