Outside the house, Kaveh is the one who gave away as much of himself as he found feasible. He would sooner deglove his fingers and rip out every tendon in his hand than try not to help. It was rooted in his very idea as himself as a person- to become kinder and kinder. To give- give away what he could. It ate him alive.
Inside the house, while we bicker, it was I who bent to the wishes of Kaveh. Rebuilding him and giving him everything he could ever request. Pouring out all my love, my life, and my blood on more than one occasion to see Kaveh as his brightest.

aka: The One Where Shenhe physically cut her emotions out as part of the red rope ritual that bound them. Cloud Retainer now houses them in her abode, and has been praying everyday to Rex Lapis that he might have a better solution long term.
