Summary
On the fateful night of the 31st of October 1981, tragedy struck the Potter family in their home. On the 31st of October 1981, Remus Lupin and Sirius Black lost three of their best friends, and only Lily Potter's clever mind allowed them to find her son, one-year-old Harry Potter before anyone else could.
Now responsible for a child in the aftermath of war, they were left to find a way back to each other in spite of their history, to raise James and Lily's son the way his parents would have wanted; safe, happy, and loved, which was much easier said than done.Sneak peek:
“I can’t do this anymore.”
“I know, I—shit, Moony I don’t know how we’ve held up this long—we’re a fucking mess.”
“Yeah, s’pose we’re gon’ have to make do with that.”
“We need to leave.”
They did. Neither had much left here. With James and Lily gone, Peter on the run and dozens of Death Eaters roaming free, their reasons to stay had drastically dwindled. Remus sighed.
“Where could we go though? There’s Lyall’s cottage in Wales, but it’s old, and who knows what’s happened to it since the last time anyone used it.”
“I know a place, I’ll tell you once we’re home, c’mon, let’s go.”Series

Summary
It was time. Harry James Potter was about to leave for his first year in Hogwarts—a world away from France where he'd grown up, and from his uncles, Sirius Black and Remus Lupin.
The only thing left was to get him his school supplies and send him off with his friends, Ron and Neville, and his familiar Indra, to discover life as young wizards without family supervision. How exciting—except perhaps for the fact that their own childhood had not been quiet, to say the least, and nothing guaranteed Harry's Hogwarts years would start tame.Sneak peek:
“What’s going on?”
“Ron and Harry have been looking for trouble.”
Neville blinked, “And?” so Harry clicked his tongue at him.
“Traitor.”
“What? It always ends up finding you.”
“I didn’t ask for it this time.”
Ron snorted, “You didn’t need to,” and Harry rolled his eyes.Series
