It feels familiar, almost. Yuuji assumes he must be dreaming.
But Yuuji knows dreams. He knows the tricks Sukuna likes to play, dirty and dark, always stained red around the edges. This is not that. This is warm and soft and real and Yuuji wants to cry. He hasn’t cried since that day, years ago for him but what must have not even happened yet for anyone else.

Summary
He has started measuring his life in fragments of soul. Started measuring the time he has left. Feels like he is running out of time, even though he could wait. He could be selfish. Never swallow that last finger, never die, never destroy Sukuna for good.
Yuuji reminds himself that it can’t last. He still needs to learn how to say goodbye.
Yuuji needs to destory the only danger left to the world; himself. But maybe he can heal instead.
