Summary
Tommy's voice, accompanied by a wide smirk, was laced with amusement. There was a certain challenge in his voice that Buck knew he couldn't win. Tommy knew very much just how Buck felt about him. Neither of them had said it yet, because, frankly, three months in was just way too soon, but Buck felt it. He always fell in love fast and hard, and it always, always seemed to come in and bite him in the ass when he least expected or needed it.
The thing though? Buck wasn't scared. He should be. This exact same thing had happened with Abby, and Ali, and Taylor, and Natalia, and it had ended in disaster with all four of them. And now it was happening again with Tommy, but somehow, it wasn't suffocating, or anxiety-inducing, or, frankly, terrifying.
Buck was falling in love with Tommy, and it only made him feel warm, and safe, and happy.
*
Three months into his and Tommy's relationship, Buck, amidst rapidly falling for the other man, feels a bit off. At first dismissive of his symptoms, the two quickly realize that this is far more life changing than they anticipated.

Summary
"Yeah, I figured."
Bobby's voice, steady and calm, sliced through the tense silence like a warm knife through butter. Buck's heart, which had been pounding against his ribcage like crazy, stuttered in its frantic pace. He looked up, sending Bobby a confused look. Because, honestly, what?
"You… figured?" Buck echoed. This… was unexpected. Which was an understatement. How did Bobby "figure" that Buck was pregnant when he hadn't known until five days ago?! Bobby turned around, a gentle smile playing on his lips, the kind that reached his eyes and softened the lines around them. He took the first page out of the scanner and put in the next.
"You fled my Mac & Cheese," he said then. "Nobody flees my Mac & Cheese."

Buck informs Bobby of his pregnancy. Meanwhile, Tommy has a conversation with Lucy.

Summary
Chimney returned the gesture before holding the other bottle over to Buck. Thankfully, he and Tommy had devised a fail-safe plan to avoid this predicament. "Sorry, but I'm driving tonight. None for me."
"Come on, Buck," Chim said with a roll of his eyes. "It's one beer. It's gonna be fine!"
…
…
…
Their fail-safe plan had just failed, and Buck needed to figure out a way to control the damage.
"Uh… um… well…" he laughed awkwardly, shuffling on the spot. Why was this so hard? He knew he was terrible at lying, but this was almost absurd. He should at least be able to conjure up a story, damn it!*
4 times Buck and Tommy try (and fail) to hide their pregnancy from their family, plus 1 time Buck tells someone who doesn't know.

Summary
“Tommy. Tommy. Tommy.”
The moment it registered, Tommy was on high alert. Evan wouldn’t wake him up for nothing. He was considerate of others to a fault, even this far into his pregnancy. Despite his significantly swollen stomach, Buck still never really asked others for help unless it was absolutely necessary, even going against his doctor’s orders on several occasions (Tommy and Bobby especially gave him stern talkings to, but Eddie, Maddie and Athena weren’t far behind). If Evan decided to wake Tommy up in the middle of the night, it had to be serious.
“I’m up, I’m up,” he groaned, sitting up and rubbing his eyes. He looked over at Evan, who… appeared perfectly calm and fine, actually. “Are you okay? Are they?”
Evan just looked him in the eye for a bit, baby blue to baby blue. Tommy had gotten lost in those eyes many times before, their color like the clearest water of the sea. They were striking, breathtaking, especially when Evan got excited and his eyes started glistening and shining.
“I need nuggies, strawberry jam and soy sauce.”

Summary
“I feel the same, obviously,” he said with a crooked smile. Buck felt a flutter in his stomach at that, and it had absolutely nothing to do with the pregnancy. He had obviously expected that Bobby thought of him like a son in the way he thought of Bobby as a father. Hearing it said out loud was still… something else. “You’ve been like my own since you started at the 118, probably.”
Buck laughed, his gaze falling to the ground. He buried his hands in the pockets of his pregnancy pants. “Even when I stole the ladder truck for sex? Or when… when I sued you?”
Bobby’s gaze softened further (How was that even possible?) and he chuckled before reaching out to squeeze Buck’s shoulder. “Yes, even then,” he said sincerely, looking Buck straight in the eye. “You’ll learn this as your pup gets older, but a big part of being a parent is forgiving. Our kids will act out and hurt us, and that’s something we can’t change. All we can do is try our hardest to put them on the right path and show them the consequences of their actions, but love them anyway.”

Summary
“Tommy. Tommy, wake up!”
Tommy groaned and turned to the other side, away from the voice that tried to rip him from his tenderest of slumbers. Literally nothing had ever sounded less appealing than waking up right now, not even Evan telling him that it was his turn to change the twins’ diapers. Whatever that voice said, he’d just stay here, in his cozy, warm cocoon he’d made himself with his sheets and keep sleeping.
Sleeping…
Slee…ping…
“You’re forcing my hand here, babe.”
Before Tommy’s sleep-addled brain could even begin to try and make sense of the voice, (that grew more and more familiar with every word…) he suddenly felt a forceful push against his back. With a startled yelp, his eyes snapping wide open, he felt himself move over the edge of the mattress and land hard on the ground with a thud.
