[source] Thus, each fic in this series is titled with astronomy terms regarding placement & orientation of celestial bodies, for Reasons.

Summary
Due to a changed twist of fate, Dee and Kara are on New Caprica, and Sam and Lee are stuck on Pegasus when the Fleet jumps away. This is the first time since the wedding that the two men have spent an extended period of time alone together.
Takes place concurrently with Chapter 1 of Syzygy, the first fic in the Ephemerides series, which tells the story from Dee's pov.

Summary
After losing Billy, it had been like a switch had been flipped. Dee had become greedy about every fleeting moment of joy, felt the near-misses more keenly, forged promises like a links in a binding chain, keeping those she loved close.
It’s probably not healthy, she admonishes herself in retrospect. It’s definitely not wise, especially given who she’s chosen to bind herself to.
But it’s all she has. And it’s enough, for now. More than this seems like asking for trouble, tipping the scales and straining the already-fraying knots they’ve wound themselves into.

Summary
Wherein Kara Thrace returns from the dead, promising a way to Earth, sending her spouses into (another) tailspin. Dee goes on the Demetrius; Sam and Lee stay behind.
“In my experience, the more personalities involved in a relationship, the faster it falls apart,” the Six says. “I should warn you: the more you sacrifice, the less you’ll have left, in the end.”
“I’m sorry you’ve been hurt,” Dee says. “But that’s not true, not for us.”
“How can you be so sure?” the Six asks, and instead of the sneering challenge it could have been, it seems like genuine curiosity.
“Our wife just came back to us from the dead,” Dee points out. “After that, some things don’t feel quite so impossible.”
This fic picks up where Occultation left off, and parallels the series from He That Believeth in Me (4x01) up till partway through Sometimes A Great Notion (4x11).
