A series of interconnecting one-shots from the POVs of Lews Therin, Barid Bel (Demandred), Ilyena and others across the hundred years of the Collapse and possibly into the War of Power. They are written as close to Robert Jordan's canon style as I can manage via my own interests. These are part of a larger story I don't yet have time to write out, so I'm releasing chapters somewhat non-sequentially as self-contained one-shots or multi-chapter stories as and when I have time/inspiration. They all fit together, following the same canon and wider plots, but you don't have to read all to understand one. As I continue to release them, the order will change. For anyone with an interest in the Age of Legends and the Collapse and how a canon-esque version may have looked. AOL channelling terms and terminology apply. Any content warnings will be in the tags and/or in the notes at the beginning. Mostly Gen, but with Lews Therin/Ilyena, Barid Bel/Ilyena and one-sided Lews Therin/Lanfear pairings gradually explored.
AOL channelling terms vs Third Age: spinning = weaving, a web/net = a weave, ring = circle, the Oneness = Ko'di/the Void, buffer = shield, knotting = tying off, reversed = inverted. Ward/warding and flows stay the same.
Government terms:
Rod of Dominion (I also call them 'Rodholders' or 'First Rod' etc) = elected regional governors of immense power, think President of the US or India. Nine in total for Nine Dominions which are versions of large countries/small continents.
World Council = a much more stable (for now) and powerful version of the United Nations/UN Security Council.
Spire of Paaran Disen = Mayor of say New York if New York was the capital of the world (I made this one up, but I'm sure RJ would have had a version of these and terms like 'Counsellors' and 'Spires' comes from his AOL game 'tcheran'.) Every Great City has a Spire (mayor) as well as a council, as does the Dominion in which it sits.
Hall of the Servants = independent governing body of the Aes Sedai run by an elected 'First Amongst Servants' and below them Counsellors for the Hall and the various changing ajah. In my stories the First is referred to as 'Lord or Lady First' with two second-in -commands - 'the Lords or Ladies Second'.
