Akutagawa walks into the living room to see his daughter napping on top of a tiger.
He blinks, but the image is still there.
They are under the bay windows as the light is shining down on them both. It is not a disturbance to their sleep though, not if the gentle rise and fall of their tandem breaths are any indication. Atsushi slumbers in his full tiger form. Yume is lying across his haunch, on her stomach, little limbs splayed out like a starfish.

Akutagawa moves. He grabs Atsushi and rolls them. They fall away from the impact site and tussle in the grime for a moment before coming to a stop on what was the subway tracks. Akutagawa is on top of him, now in reverse of their pose from earlier. Clawed hands grip at Atsushi’s shoulders, though the tips do not penetrate him. He boxes him in, knees on either side of his hips. His breathing is harsh, but not pained.
He tries to shove a hand down Atsushi’s pants.
