The first time Faye crawls into his bed, Jet pulls a gun on her.
That's not the worst part. That's reasonable, he thinks. On a ship full of bounty hunters, girl ought to expect to get a gun pointed at her if she crawls into a man's bed. He can make the reasonable argument she could have been coming in here to kill him.
No, the worst part is what comes out of both their mouths. It goes like this.
Jet says, gun still pointed at Faye, "You're not Spike."
Faye says, hands raised and words a little blurry at the edges, but eyes Wide open: "....You're not Spike either."
