Armand ignores the barb and smiles, the one that Daniel knows is real. “Am I your boyfriend, Daniel?”
“What, should I introduce you as my boss? Because that would go over real well. Hey, sweetie, I’ve got a great new full-time gig as the Devil’s fucking minion. Benefits are great, and you won’t get a better retirement deal—”
“You want them both to hate you.”
Daniel slaps Armand before he even realizes he's doing it. "Don't say shit like that. About my kids.”
Armand shakes his head and smiles, reaching up with his hands to pull Daniel’s face towards his own gently. His long fingers twine into Daniel’s curls easily. “Sorry,” he whispers, only lightly mockingly. “I’m quite selfish myself. And telling the truth is often a selfish fact.” Before Daniel can figure out what that string of bullshit means, Armand presses his lips against Daniel’s.Daniel wants to be more involved in his daughter's lives again. Armand can't leave well enough alone.

Summary
“I have an idea,” Armand protests. He almost sounds whiny, which is new enough that Daniel lets genuine surprise show on his face. Armand seizes on that reaction with delight. “An idea you’ll like, my beloved.”
“I’m listening.” Daniel purses his lips. Armand’s ideas generally ended one of two ways for him: with mind-blowing sex, or with someone being slammed into a hard surface and running away. He wasn’t really in the mood for the latter, but the former could work out.
“I want to play your lover. Your human lover, like the way mortals see us. Mr. Molloy, the journalist, and his scandalously young paramour. A powerful, older man spoiling his beloved. A grandfather seduced away from his loving family by a boyish inamorato.”
Daniel is so caught off-guard that he just stares at Armand for a solid thirty seconds while his brain processes the idea. His head nods slightly, like an idle animation on a computer, and finally he shrugs. “You want to play sugar daddy and homewrecker?”
“Yes,” Armand whispers breathlessly. “I told you. I have a kink.”
Daniel exhales loudly through his nose. “Fuck it. Yeah. Let’s go to Miami.”Series

Summary
“I’ve been thinking of staying here,” Armand says. He turns around to study Daniel, leans a hip against the metal railing of the balcony, cigarette dangling between his fingers. “In Miami.”
Daniel laughs and snatches the cigarette from Armand’s grasp, taking a long drag so he can exhale smoke through his nostrils. Armand hates it when he does that, and always says Daniel will ruin his sense of smell more than he already has, which is why Daniel makes a point of doing it again anyway. “Screw off, man. You only come here because I like it.”
“I was thinking of purchasing an island."
