Sandor was screwing the plastic mug back onto his thermos when he paused and flicked his eyes over to the group, his brow lowered in ‘wtf’ confusion. The new guy… a big ass ginger named Tormund, who’d been with their logging team for about three months had just tossed him a question that had Bronn, an old pro like himself, making a cutting motion across his neck at him over. But his eyes fluttered slightly as he shifted his bulk to face him a little more. 'What about you, Hound? You got a little lady at home… or a big lady?' Followed by a bouncing of the man’s eyebrows.

Quitting had always felt like running to him but Sandor had to get outta there or he would have killed that little blonde shit. Leaving her had been the hardest thing he'd ever done and it had left him a hollow shell of a man who drowned himself nightly for his cowardice. That he'd be in that bar was nothing special, it was basically his home away from home. That a woman would walk in? Also nothing special. That it would be her? A bloody Christmas miracle. Or a curse, depending on how one looked at it. Seeing her again was like a lightning strike. Seeing her face? A volcanic eruption. He didn't plan on taking her home. But like a hurricane, it just happened - nothing he could do to stop it.
